Erratum
The article about Physice and the Knowledge of Ignorance attributed to Chris Stewart last month was in fact gleaned from the BBC website - herewith Chris' note about this article: Please remember to note the item in the last issue was not my article (though I would have been pleased to be able to say it was). It came from the BBC site at http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/ which has many similar interesting comments that might amuse our members.
Apologies to Chris and the BBC. This brings up a point, or should I say, a request…..if you do submit an article for Canopus that is not your work, please advise me of the fact and I will then credit the original author and add an additional credit at the bottom that says ( for instance ) "Submitted by John J J Smith". This way, you can share an excellent article with all of us, but we can also know that it's due to your enterprise that we are enjoying said article....................Ed. |
