Hobby-X

A really exciting development - we have been allocated a 9 x 4m stand at Hobby-X in a fairly useful position.

I will be organising a data projector and screen so as to spool eclipse, telescope-making class, ScopeX and member's own photographs during the show (5-9 March).  I am also trying to convince the organisers to paste a small photograph of Saturn on the dome ceiling - last year we observed a tiny hole in the dome ceiling for 4 days!  I will have my own scope on the stand.  If there are any other volunteers who would like to contribute equipment for display, this would be gratefully appreciated.   I think the more dynamic the stand, the better the chance of achieving our primary objective of selling memberships.

I will compile a roster of attendance for those who can assist me on the stand.  I particularly need help during the weekdays of the 5 - 7th. Anybody who can help, please email your attendance times so I can finalise this as well as arrange the correct number of exhibitor's badges.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Bye for now
Dave Gordon
