LATHE FOR SALE

One of our long-standing members, Dr Neil Williams has a lathe which he would like to sell. It is obviously the size and type suitable for a keen telescope maker or home handyman. It is a 3 ½ - inch Myford Lathe with all the attachments you could possibly want. Together with the tools that go with the trade, like micrometers etc. Price Negotiable. Tel. Eve on 455-4862.

TELESCOPE FOR SALE

A Mr Bennett in Northcliffe has a small telescope for sale. It is "about 10cm diameter" and has 3 sections "which pull out". It sounds like it may be the kind of telescope mariners may use, or perhaps it may be good for bird watching.. It is brand-new and was made in Germany. There is a tripod and the whole thing comes in 2 carrying cases. Tel Mr Bennett on 476-1433
