Johannesburg Centre, Astronomical Society of Southern Africa

Editorial

It had to happen. It was inevitable. Our supply of articles has dried up. Its sad but what can you do but steal articles from the Internet to fill the pages. These are not the most interesting issues as the articles don’t have that local interest ingredient. So we apologise to those readers who have enjoyed hearing the news and views from our members - we will grovel and go begging and maybe next month we can close out the year with the kind of issue you will enjoy.

We do, at least have an interesting article from our stalwart at JPL, Bill Wheaton, and there is the news of the new comet, SOHO, although by the time you get this it may be getting a little faint.
