FEEDBACK

I recently attended a lecture at the Wednesday night meeting given by Professor Lyn Wadley on some aspects of the book THE FINGERPRINTS OF THE GODS by Robert Bauval and Graham Hancock.I would be interested to hear from members of the society who may have had the opportunity to run the particular computer programme that Bauval used that ties the position of the 3 belt stars of Orion to the Pyramids at Giza.   Apparently they found that the position of the ground/sky match fits perfectly with the angle of the belt stars as they crossed the meridian on the Spring Equinox in lO,OOO BC.

There are also other interesting aspects on the astronomical connections with the Sphinx and the Nile relating to the Milky Way, covered in some detail on page 75, Stars and Time in Keeper of Genesis, by the above authors.

Look forward to hearing some feedback on this, as this aspect was not covered at all during the lecture, and would certainly love to attend a lecture on this subject, from any
members of the society. How about it? Any takers?
