Notice of Star Party

The December meeting of the Johannesburg Centre of the Astronomical Society will be held at Tom Budge’s Farm on Saturday 12^th December 1998 from 15:00 onwards.

Bring along your telescopes and some edibles & drinkables – braai-fires will be provided.

We will also be getting memorabilia in the form of mugs with the Johannesburg Centre logo thereon. These will probably be supplied at a price of around R20-00 apiece. We also hope (eventually) to have a stock of bumper stickers with our logo and a catchy Astronomical phrase or saying thereon.

Tony Golding who sits on your committee, has offered the loan of a PC to help us computerize our inventories, especially the contents of the Library. We thank Tony for this kind offer which we have accepted.
